The Aldran War was a war fought by the Empire against an enemy who was created by Nexus Corp. The Robot Enemy was based out of the Aldra System (a dead system - a system that cannot support life - in the Antarctic Region of the Milky Way Galaxy).

This was a terrible war for the Empire because they were fighting against an enemy that could remake themselves over and over again never giving up.

The only way the Empire found that would actually stop the battles was to destroy the R.A.I.s (or Robotic Artificial Intelligences). The R.A.I.s were in battle Ships that were usually leading the battles making them easy to find.

The men and women of the Empire were very discouraged by this war for the vast losses that were sustained by the Mobile Infantry and Navy Forces alike. The most famous SAPAW and the leader of the SAPAW Brigades General Sir was also lost in this war.

The major battles of this war were the Battle at Corgot, the Battle Above Crondoria, the Battle for Agrus, the Battle of Razon and the Battle at Aldra. These were the main battles that were recorded in the history books, there were most likely other battles that were not recoded. Even from earlier publications of this Encyclopedia do not have details on if there were other battles or not.

Details of these recorded battles are also hard to come by. There is a recording in an earlier edition of this Encyclopedia that there was a novel written by a one Hoban Rantré Imonora (cousin of Emperor Jucal Imonora I) and entitled Forced War (this was written by King Imonora to give a realistic portrayal of this war from a soldier's point of view) that had a portrayal of the battles and a battle that wasn't recorded in the history. This novel was lost somewhere in the millenia between the time that it was written and now though so we no longer have a record of any of this.

Hoban Rantré was a fighter pilot during the Crondorian Conflict and the Aldran War as well as the cousin of Emperor Jucal Imonora I. Not much is known about his life other than the fact that his family line were the kings and queens of the planet New Oregon. After the war Hoban Imonora retired to New Oregon.

This was had heavy losses for the Empire and left them with a tactical disadvantage during most battles.
