The Encyclopedia Galactica is an encyclopedia that tabulates every thing in the Empire. It's largest competitor is the Encyclopedia Imperia. They are en large part the the only encyclopedias used in the Imperial schools and academies. The Encyclopedia Galactica title was changed to Encyclopedia Universia in 3375.0215.

The Encyclopedia Imperia is the 2nd most popular in encyclopedia in the Imonoran Empire. It is the 2nd to the Encyclopedia Galactica. Published by Imperial Publications (a subsidiary of Imperia Enterprises). It sold 58 quadrillion copies of it's first edition, first published in 2945. It is now in its 270th reprint.

The Encyclopedia Galactica was printed by the Galactic Publishing Company for 300 years before the company changed it's name to Universal Publishing Company in 3375.0101. This change in the companies name caused a change in the name of the company's main source of income.
