Imonoran Empire

Overview

The Imonoran Empire was the faction that ruled from 2894 - 3587 IC. It, at the hieght of it's power, ruled nine galaxies and was named after its ruling family, the Imonora Family. The Empire was strong and filled with vast technologies, some of which were lost during the Great Dispersion (The Dispersion Calender System, Dispersion Era or DE can be veiwed at any one of thoes links).

External History

The Imonoran Empire was first conceived as a group of underground colonies or cities that fought wars and was ruled by a benevolent leader, when RB May was 12. This later grew to the Empire, a Galactic Empire that was able to travel between stars and planets and spanned the galaxy but the colonies were hidden here on Earth. This grew until it finally became what it is today. An alternate history that brings the future to this very moment. The date was changed forward 1023 years and made to be in the 31st century rather than the 20th century.

Internal History

The Empire Started 2894 IC (1871 AD) with Emperor Shiro Igira Imori at the helm. The Empire grew from there to until they claimed the stars in 2915 (the first planet that was discovered was Crondoria, which became the capitol). The Empire's technology grew in leaps and bounds all the way through the 2900s. Only two assasinations on the Emperors were documented. The first on the oppressive Richard Imori (whose son changed his last name to Imonora to get rid of the name of his tyrannical father), and then on the beloved Jlascus Imonora. It is believed that Jlascus Imonora III was assasinated after the he gave his speech, Dispersion.

The Imonoran Empire ended in 3587 after Jlascus Imonora III gave his speech, "Dispersion." This sent the Empire and its nine Galaxies in to the Dispersion Era. There was no comminication between planets and no space flight.

At the end of the Dispersion Era a man named Juroh (during the Dispersion Era last names were lost) reconnected the Empire into a republic. The republic was named the Juronian Republic. The republic lasted for one thousand and eight years and it was turned into the Ilahin Republic Empire. The Imperial Republic was so named because the Imperial strain (the Imori family line which was changed to Ilahi after the Dispersion) was set back in the seat of the Emperor to get them out of power. This backfired as the Emperor started to gain more and more power taking it away from the senate. This finally caused the Empire to resurface as known super power again in 43898 JC (47894 IC). The Imonoran Empire was reborn as the Imonoran Universal Empire.

Language

The Imperial Language was changed from English to Kenmor (Knowledge Speak) in 2964. This language was based heavily off of Latin.

The Imperial Linguist were instructed to make a language that would be easy to learn. So the Kenmor came into being with its root word format. Every word is a root word and you make it a now by adding "i" to the end. This holds true for every word (except some of those more specific terms that can't be transposed from one to another). The language is not amazingly complex and in some area's is only taught as a second language to the main one of hte area. Such as in the Malanian Sector where Malanian is the main language but everone also know's Kenmor.

Militia

The Imperial Militia is known as the Federation of Arms, or FoA, and holds both the Navy and the Mobile Infantry (a descendant of Marines) under one orginization. The FoA was first made in 2994.1114 with the start of the Navy. The Federation has a council of Commanders who ultimately answer only to the Emperor, himself. The Senate has some say on what the Federation does but the orders are usually issued from the Emperor to the Federation.

The Navy is made up of the Space Fleet. These include several different class of space vessel as well as the fighters that ares used during battle. The Vessels of the Navy are named with a very old tradition: Imperial Sapce Ship or ISS. Such as the ISS Venmar (the most well known ship in the entire Empire).

The Mobile Infantry, in the Imonoran Empire, is broken up into two groups: Infantryman and SAPAWs. Infantryman are your standard soldiers in the Empire. They get on a ship and are transported to the battle. SAPAWs (Speed And Power Adjusted Warriors) are a different story. They have been inhanced and wear special suits of armor that only they can wear. They are stronger faster and more capable than a standard soldier.
