Shiro Igira Imori

Shiro Igira Imori was born in 1827 AD (2850 IC). He was ridiculed by his peers for "irrational" ideas, such as flight and automated carriages that didn't need horses. This caused his expulsion from the scientific comunity in March of 1867. He had a small group of followers that denounced Darwin's theories along with him.

These followers eventually started to grow until they made themselves their own empire, and with the completion of the "Air Boat" (later named the Air Plane) the Empire started with the "first flight" in 1871 AD. This date was changed later that year (the Empire started on January First) to the year 2894 IC.

In the Fall of 2894 (before the change of the calender) Shiro Igira Imori was named the First Emperor.

There was a holiday named after Shiro Igira Imori to celebrate his birthday. This was celebrated on on March 14th every year. Major celebrations of this date include the years 2950, the 100th anniversary, 3000, the 150th anniversary, 3050, the 200th, and so on.

The holiday was later picked up after the Dispersion Era and the first possible celebration was the year 5 JC which was the 1150th anniversary of his birth. The Empire (parts of the Empire did in fact continue to celebrate the Emperor's birthday all the way through the Dispersion Era) missed its chance to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of his birth, which was the year 263 DE.

The Juronian Republic started to celebrate the holiday as a whole in the year 55 JC, the 1200th anniversary, and from then on it was celebrated just as it was in the Imonoran Empire. This holiday continued all the way through the Ilahin Imperial Republic and in the Imonoran Universal Empire.

The last time that the Ilahin Imperial Republic celebrated this holiday as a large event was the year 43855 JC, 45,100th anniversary. It was not celebrated again until year 7 ME this is the first time that the Imonoran Universal Empire celebrated it and was the 45,150th anniversary of Shiro Igira Imori's Birthday. The last time they had celebrated it as a whole, as of this printing, was the year 18,457 ME, which was the 63,600th anniversary. The next time that they will celebrate it, as of this printing, will be 18,507 ME, the 63,650th anniversary.
